The Xhaferi family name originates from the historically indigenous Albanian village of Radusha, which is located on the northwestern edge of modern North Macedonia, and right along the border with Kosova. Geographically, it is nestled near the dynamic flow of the Vardar River and at the foothills of the Dheden mountain mass. Long before the geopolitical shifts that led to the creation of Yugoslavia, Radusha existed fundamentally as an established Albanian settlement. Throughout the complex transitions under the Yugoslav regime and down to the eventual establishment of present-day North Macedonia, its families have resiliently sustained their native language, cultural traditions, and national identity across generations.
